- Worked with optical, hyperspectral, and SAR datasets for the Moon to analyze mineralogy, morphology, geological evolution models, and ejecta facies emplacement of lunar impact craters.
- Handled model simulation of the Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer payload for the Venus mission and worked with the Noble Gas Mass Spectrometer (NGMS) during a brief stint at PRL, Ahmedabad.
- Worked on Jharia Coal Field ground deformation mapping using InSAR and DInSAR techniques.
- Conducted studies on “Radar-dark halo” for Copernican-age craters, including mapping of impact ejecta facies, their relation to radar-bright and radar-dark halos, and characterization of Mean Circular Polarisation Ratio, Mean Backscatter Coefficient, and Mean Rock Abundance.
- Identified potential pyroclastic deposits and source vents using multi-frequency radar datasets, including Earth-based observations.
- Performed multi-frequency studies of lunar regolith properties, including mapping and analysis of emplacement mechanisms and physical properties of lunar regolith at selected sites.
- Developed preliminary algorithms for opencast mine detection and lunar crater boundary extraction, while working on advanced feature extraction methods applicable across multiple domains.
