The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) provides financial support under RESPOND Programme to Academic Institutions in India for conducting research and development activities related to Space Science, Space Technology and Space Applications. The main objectives of the RESPOND Programme are to establish strong links with capacity building at academic institutions to carryout quality research and developmental projects of relevance and derive useful outputs to support ISRO Programmes. RESPOND Programme aims to enhance Academic base, generate human resources and infrastructure at the Academic Institutions to support the Space Programme.
